What you need to know about the role

Quality Engineer role, embedded in scrum teams to work together with PMO, PM and developers to deliver payment products.

You will perform functional testing, end to end testing and implement automation testing. And accountable to the product quality.

Your day to day –

In your day-to-day role you will:

• Perform functional testing, integration testing & end-to-end testing to our payment product.

• Design, develop and maintain automation test cases, write test report.

• Develop and maintain test framework.

• Collaborate with business, product and developers to shape our payment product.

What do you need to bring-

• Understand SDLC, experience with large scale distributed software system testing.

• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms and data structures

• Excellent understanding of backend/middleware like restful, GRPC, Redis, RabbitMQ etc., experience with database, rational (Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL

• Strong coding capability with Python/Java, familiar with pytest/testNG/postman/Playwright

• BS/MS in CS or related field

• Excellent communication skills, good oral and writing in English (English level 6 and above)

• Familiar with payment, checkout, onboarding, compliance, risk domains will be a plus

• Motivated & self-driven

• Nice to have:

 Good documentation skills – hands on experience using Jira/confluence or similar doc tools

 Hands on experience in develop and maintain testing framework

 Organized, think methodologically when encountering problems, independently get things done

 Innovative, creative, think outside of the box

 Quickly exploring options

 Fail fast mentality and good learning capability
